Recipient summary vs audience for subsets and follow ups
To see exactly who is eligible to be emailed for a study invite or Pool email distribution, there are a few layers of governance and logic. They follow this hierarchy:
Audience
Largest number of initially selected potential participants, saved per study or Pool distribution
Recipients
This can be everyone in the audience, or a subset (batch or random)
Subsequent batches, group communication, and follow ups
These are all ways to further email from the same audience, depending on eligibility
At each layer above, you select participants to potentially be included in your study, but certain emails might be blocked due to governance or eligibility. In a study invite or Pool email distribution, you can click to view inside the recipient summary and see all emails that are eligible or blocked. If you click into blocked you can see the exact rule that is blocking a particular email.
