Brand logo in emails
Every participant-facing email Ethnio sends can carry your brand logo at the top. It's a brand-level setting, so switching it on covers every email for every study that uses that brand. It's off by default, and nothing changes for your existing emails until you turn it on.
The main emails this setting controls:
- Scheduling emails, including reminder emails (not SMS)
- Incentive emails
- Pool email template created from scratch (this uses the default brand in your account)
- Other emails?
Where it does not apply:
- Existing Pool email templates
- Study invites use Pool email templates so follow the above brand logo setup
Turning it on
Head to Brands, open the brand you want to change, and switch to Advanced brand options. Under Brand logo you'll see two choices:
- Include logo in emails — every email participants receive from Ethnio shows your brand logo at the top.
- No logo in emails — no logo is included in participant-facing emails. This is the default, and it can help with deliverability.
Each option shows a small preview of the resulting email so you can see the difference before you choose. Save the brand and the change applies straight away to every study using it.

What the logo looks like
It's the logo you uploaded to the brand, placed above the email body and aligned to the left. It's shown at the brand's Logo width, so if you want it larger or smaller, change that setting in Advanced brand options and it updates everywhere at once — you don't need to touch any individual email.
Its alt text, which screen readers announce, comes from the Alt text for brand logo field just below the setting. Leave that blank and Ethnio uses your brand name.
Editing emails once it's on
With the setting on, the logo appears at the top of the email editor so you can see where it lands. It isn't part of the email content, though: you can't select, move, edit, or delete it there, and it won't appear in the translations editor. Hover over it for a reminder of where it comes from. To change or remove it, go back to your brand settings.
Use Preview email in any email editor to see exactly what participants will receive.
