Sending a copy of signed consent PDFs via email 📧

The consent email feature works just like any e-signature tool. As soon as a participant signs your consent form, Ethnio automatically sends them, and anyone else who needs to be included, a PDF copy. You can fully customize the sender details (From Name and Reply-To), add legal or compliance, and use the “Consent title” personalization variable to keep everything organized and traceable.

To set up your consent email template, head to Home > Consent > Emails.

Consent emails are automated, branded messages that go out as soon as a participant signs your Ethnio consent form. These emails can include:

  • A downloadable PDF of the signed consent (also available from Consent > Activity or the participant’s Pool detail page).
  • Your customized email message.
  • Optional CC recipients (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Study lead)
  • The Consent Title personalization variable, which you can add to the subject or body.

Consent emails make it easy to keep records consistent and ensure everyone who needs documentation gets it right away.
