Location for emails & calendar invites

Summary

The best way to include a meeting URL for Zoom or any location is to use the [Location] variable in scheduling. That includes 1:1 details, group details, or even backup details. The places this gets used are:

Scheduling Emails

Generally speaking, you type [Location] in the right column of the default table to the right of "Where," per the screenshot below. Keep in mind you want to delete everything else from there.

Pro tip, if you scroll alllllll the way down on any scheduling details email, you can reset to default and [Location] will be added automatically:

Reminders

Once that is setup above, you can also use the variable in Reminders:

Note: When the [Location] variable is changed in one place, it will automatically change everywhere else.

Calendar Invites

If you already have your GCal integration setup, the [Location] variable can also be used in Calendar Invites. If you already have your Zoom integration setup, the [Location] variable will display a link to the Zoom meeting.

Go to Scheduling >> Calendar Invites to customize the Calendar Event Title and Calendar Event Description.

Use the Insert Variable drop-down menu to select which variables you would like to include.

Alternatively, you can also use the same email content by using the toggle on the right.

If you use the toggle to use email content, the calendar invite will include the same content from the Scheduling Details Email shown in the screenshots above.

Note: When the [Location] variable is changed in one place, it will automatically change everywhere else.
