Testing tool integrations and redirects for 3rd party URL
If you’re sending a subset of screened participants to a 3rd party tool, you can set up a simple redirect/callback workflow to bring completed participants back into Ethnio. This allows you to track completions and pay incentives once participants finish their task.
This is done by sending participants from Ethnio to the 3rd party tool via a tracking URL and having the external tool automatically redirect participants back to Ethnio upon completion, passing the complete status back.
This approach is commonly supported across research platforms and does not require a full API or webhook integration, just a redirect URL with parameters.
You can active the following integrations to receive back completed participants into Ethnio:
- Optimal Workshop (via Redirect URL Assistant)
- Loop11 (via callback/redirection system)
- UserTesting.com
- dscout
Once participants return to Ethnio, you can easily manage tracking, reporting, and incentive payments all in one place.
You can also send qualified participants to any 3rd party URL, but Ethnio will not receive completed participants back from that tool without the supported redirect or callback integration enabled.
