How to resolve strange text characters or formatting in formatted text block

Your participants might see strange formatting or characters inside a formatted text block inside a screener, study, or survey. Quickest fix ๐: paste unformatted text
Create a new formatted text block and paste unformatted text, then instead of pasting formatted text, paste text with no formatting. You can then apply formatting from the formatted text toolbar, with anything from bullet points to bold text to font-size control.

Advanced fix ๐ : edit the HTML
1. Check the Current Font Size ๐:
- Begin by checking the font size that is currently set in your "Formatted Text Block".
- Ensure that any unwanted formatting from the source text has been cleared.
2. Remove Extraneous HTML Text ๐งน:
- Sometimes when copying and pasting unformatted text, extraneous HTML might get added which can interfere with the font size settings.
- Make sure to paste content as plain text or utilize a built-in "clear formatting" option if available.
3. Update the Font Size โฌ๏ธ:
- Once you've removed any extraneous HTML, try updating the font size again.
- Ensure that you're selecting the correct font size from the available options.
4. Verify Changes in Screener Link ๐:
- After making your changes, always check the screener link to ensure that the font sizes update accordingly.
- If the font sizes still do not reflect your changes, take screenshots of the areas with the discrepancies and reach out to the support team for further assistance.
