Allow Non SSO Accounts
This article is for Enterprise customers that already use SSO 🔒 Nice and secure, well done. Let's say you need to invite outside contractors or freelancers 👩💻👨💻 to your Ethnio account. Their email addresses won't match your company domain that's set up with SSO. 😱 By default, they will not be allowed to login to comply with the security model of SSO.
Not to worry, there's a simple setting the Ethnio account owner can enable to allow accounts from other domains:
- Have your Ethnio account owner head to their profile > security > SSO settings.
- Find "Allow non SSO Accounts" and check that box! 🗹
Now any account admin or the account owner can invite contractors or any other domain to sign up with a normal email and password. Your core team still uses SSO with their work emails. Everyone's happy? Big question.
So in summary:
- SSO is enabled for your company by default 👥
- Check "Allow non SSO" to invite contractors 🤝
- They use email/password, your team uses SSO 👩💻👨💻
- Collaborate securely with outside help 🎊
