DocuSign Integration

Ethnio can integrate with DocuSign PowerForms to allow research participants to sign your existing consent forms during the scheduling process. This guide explains how to set up and use this integration.

Prerequisites ✅

• Ethnio account with scheduling 2.0 enabled 🗓️
• DocuSign account with PowerForms 📑

Connect DocuSign to Ethnio ⚙️

1. In Ethnio, go to Integrations and select DocuSign, or go to home > consent > create new > DocuSign integration ➡️
2. Follow prompts to connect your DocuSign account 🔐
3. Enable access to PowerForms in the DocuSign scope options 🔧

Once connected, DocuSign PowerForms will be available in Ethnio.

Setup the PowerForm Mapping  📄

1. In your DocuSign account, find the PowerForm for your consent document 🖊️
2. Verify you have put "Participant" in the role field (more here: docusign-integration-prepopulation-settings )

Select the PowerForm in Ethnio 🚀

1. When scheduling a participant in Ethnio, turn on the consent step and use the invite step from scheduling > quick settings ✅
2. Enter the PowerForm ID to select the consent form 🆔
3. Participant will be prompted to sign the form before their session 📑
4. You can track consent status in Home > Consent > Activity or Pool 📈

• Create and read clickwrap agreements from DocuSign Click. Obtain links for starting clickwrap agreement sessions.
• Manage clickwraps and read agreements from DocuSign Click
• Create and send envelopes. Obtain links for starting signing sessions.
