Locked Account

There are several scenarios where you can find yourself locked out of your Ethnio account as part of our suite of security protection. The most common are as follows:

• Too many password resets
• Entering the wrong password too many times
• 2FA phone number errors

The most common duration for a locked account is 20 minutes. You should automatically receive an email with instructions on how to unlock your account, and please make sure to do the following when you unlock your account:

• Clear any ethn.io cookies or try a fresh browser
• Be extra sure to enter the correct new password (or phone number for 2FA)

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to expedite a locked account, as the mechanisms are there for your own protection.
