Warnings in the editor ⚠️

There are a few reasons you can receive a warning using the editor for a screener or survey inside your study. These are the main ones:

🗓️ Scheduling conflict warning

A scheduling conflict warning appears when your study contains more than one scheduling question. Because only one scheduled session can be recorded per respondent, only the first scheduling response will be saved and any subsequent scheduling questions will be ignored.

To resolve this, review your study and remove any duplicate scheduling questions, keeping only the one you want respondents to complete.

🔗 Piping warning

A piping warning appears when either of the following happens:

1. The order of piping prevents Ethnio from displaying the piped item, because we can't pipe something that has not been entered yet

2. The page break is missing that Ethnio needs to properly calculate, store, and display piping

This is because a question references a piped answer that needs to be answered before the piping. This happens when the source question (the one whose answer is being piped) is either in the wrong order, meaning it appears after the question doing the piping, or is on the same page without a page break separating them.

To resolve this, make sure the source question appears before the piping question in your study, and that there is a page break between the two questions so the answer can be captured before it is referenced.
