Customize study plan defaults
For account owners or admins, head to Studies and click the settings icon and then Customize study plan to remove required fields when anyone in your account creates a Study Plan. You can save a ton of time for your team by removing fields or sections that are not part of your workflow.

Common fields to hide
The basic idea here is to cut down on noise and speed up the process of creating a study in Ethnio. Some common fields to hide are below, and all you do is expand the part of your study plan, and then toggle off any optional fields. Most fields are required, as a heads up:

- Key Elements > External research plan
- Participant criteria > Age range
- Study metadata > Internal research POC
- Participant criteria > Accessibility criteria
- Participant criteria > Other recruitment criteria
- Study metadata > Unmoderated study URL
If your team regularly leaves a field blank or captures that information elsewhere, it’s a good option to hide.
