Cost of living automatic calculations for global studies 🌐
For Enterprise customers, you can have Ethnio calculate and pay different amounts for each participant according to their country's cost of living during two critical phases:
- Study plan & invites up front when they are promised an incentive amount
- Pay flow when they are being paid
Assigning countries to all your participants
In order to know up front which country your participants are in, you'll need to select an attribute (basically a column) from Pool on incentives > settings.
It's best that you upload country information in advance for any participants being paid with automatic cost of living. The country names can be formatted as english names or two digit country codes otherwise known as ISO 3166-1 alpha-2, or just alpha-2 codes for short.
Validation
When you select an attribute from incentives > settings > cost of living, we run a basic check on the participants with that attribute.
