Adding tags from an import column with mapping 🗂️
If you import participants to Pool using a Google Sheet or XLSX, Ethnio can automatically map those tags to any of your native Ethnio tags in Pool. Keep in mind a few key things:
- Check the separator dropdown on the mapping step to select commas, if that's what you use. The default is semicolon
- Tags can only be added, not removed
- Existing tags will be matched automatically BUT they are case sensitive. So if you have "pears" in your import, but Pears as a tag in Ethnio, it will not match.
Tldr; automatic tag matching is case-sensitive, and make sure the separator dropdown is set to commas. In the rare case you have semicolons, just update it to that.
