How to Cancel or Delete Your Ethnio Account

We understand that managing subscriptions can be frustrating, so we’ve tried to make it as easy as possible to cancel or delete your Ethnio account, whether you just want to stop being charged or remove your data entirely.

Option 1: Switch to the Free Plan (Retain Access Without Being Charged)

If you'd like to keep access to your data without paying for a subscription, you can switch to our Free plan at any time:

1. Click on your account avatar in the top right corner of Ethnio.
2. Navigate to Plan & Usage.
3. Click Change Plans.
4. Scroll past the paid plans and look for the link that says Downgrade here below the plan options.
5. Select the Free plan to avoid future charges but still retain access to your account and data.

This is a great option if you plan to return to Ethnio later and want to keep your studies and participant info intact.

Option 2: Permanently Delete Your Account

If you'd prefer to completely remove your account and all associated data, including billing information, you can delete it permanently:

1. Go to Account > Profile.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
3. Click Permanently Delete Account.

⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Your account and data will be removed from all backups.
