Subjects in study invites
Your subject has a massive impact on conversion and open rates for any email distribution. Editing a template in pool > email includes the subject field, so when you select a subject in your study invite, it will use that subject.
📝 Study invites use template subjects, if that's blank we use the last sent subject
Make sure all your pool email templates have subjects, and you'll always see those. If any of those are blank, we'll show you the last subject used across the whole account for either a Pool distribution or study invite.
Engagement vs Opens vs Delivered
You'll see a percentage for engagement which represents opens and clicks out of your total recipients. If you open up any of those distributions, you can see the details on how many opens or clicks there were. Multiple opens from a single recipient can cause the numbers to be a bit confusing, so please keep that in mind.
How the data works
Opened is the number of opens divided by the number of delivered emails in any given distribution.
General Tips
- Keep it short - no more than 9 words and 60 characters.
- Avoid spam filter language like "free" or "win"
- Use emojis carefully - most researchers don't use these but it can grab attention in moderation (sorry for the terrible research joke ;-)
No more than 3 punctuation marks per subject line.
Why can't I see my most recent distribution?
In order to show up in subject performance, we need at least 15% engagement. If you just sent a distribution.
