Opt outs and editing your unsubscribe page

In Pool, there are several ways to track and manage opt-outs, starting from the most common and going to the most complex.

Add Opt Outs via Link or CSV

  1. Add an opt-out link to any Pool emails that will automatically opt your recipient out of future research emails with one click.

  2. Upload an existing list of opt outs into the Pool that will prohibit any of your opt-outs from say a marketing list or existing database from receiving research emails from Pool.

Viewing Opt Outs

The quickest way to view opt outs is to click the orange opt outs at the top of Pool. You can then export this list. You'll notice the opt out symbol is next to each email:

You'll also notice on the individual Pool Member detail page, how they were opted out and the opt out symbol as well:

Editing Unsubscribe

If you'd like to customize the language that your Pool email recipients see if they click unsubscribe, you can do that from Pool >> Emails >> Unsubscribe Page

Rules

Keep in mind, no matter where your opt outs come from, you can set Pool Rules to prevent opted-out respondents from receiving any pool emails.
